When you see the pictures below, you might think that the house floats on the water, the fact is that this house is anchored to the ground but the ground is close to the water, visually creating a ‘floating-look’ for the house. There’s also an underground level which is buried completely in the ground, this level houses private areas like bedrooms and bathrooms. The placement of the private areas in the ground floor is understandable since the ground level is clad with glass and is dedicated to enjoy the surrounding views. This house was completed in the end of 2008 and was designed by architects of Waterstudio.NL.
